Cookie policy
Which cookies and which local storage the Ankarex website and console use, and why.
Bu belge İspanyolca ve İngilizce olarak yayımlanır. Burada İngilizce gösterilmektedir; farklılık halinde İspanyolca sürüm geçerlidir.
Kısaca
- We only use strictly necessary cookies and storage: to keep you signed in, remember the language and save your display preferences.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, nor share browsing data with third parties for those purposes.
- That is why we do not ask for consent with a banner: the law exempts cookies that are necessary to provide the service you request.
If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) serves a similar purpose. This policy covers both, in line with article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI and the European rules on privacy in electronic communications.
3. Local storage we use
| Key | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ankr-theme | Light or dark theme chosen. | localStorage, preference | Until you clear it |
ankr-console-language | Console language. | localStorage, preference | Until you clear it |
ankr-density, ankr-sound | Table density and console sounds. | localStorage, preference | Until you clear it |
ankr-table:* | Table columns and order. | localStorage, preference | Until you clear it |
Send recovery | If a send ends in an uncertain state (for example the connection drops), keeps the draft and its key so it is never sent twice. | sessionStorage, technical | Until the tab closes or 23 hours |
ank-scene:* | State of the site animations so they are not replayed on reload. | sessionStorage, technical | Until the tab closes |
We never store passwords, verification codes or API keys in the browser.
4. Third-party resources
Some console visualisations load a graphics library from a content delivery network (jsDelivr). When they do, your browser discloses your IP address to that provider to download the file; no cookies are set. Links to our blog and to the status page open sites with their own policies.
5. How to control them
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in to the console; if you delete the preferences, the site returns to its defaults.
